Catriona Matthews - Europe Solheim Cup Team Captain"Got Shafts fitted up with proper tips… first impressions excellent, lovely flight on 3 wood from turf and on from tee, soft draw without trying to hit draw, driver nice flight, maybe slightly high but certainly impressive, have lowered setting on driver and no loss of accuracy." "So good results carrying my driver around 7/8 yds further which is significant (first time I’ve actually used a shaft and seen positive results instantly 👌)and 3 wood 10+ yds..." "I’m going to put in the bag for the LET event in Bangkok and have every intention of using at Muirfield for Women's Open😉👍" pic - Instagram @letgolf Michelle Wie West on Instagram "There is no magic wand in golf, but @autoflex_shaft has been the closest thing to it! It's been an absolute game changer in my bag since I came back to compete. I gained 4mph in clubhead speed..." The AF was legit all day. 15 yards longer than my Ventus. I am playing 9 degree Mavrik Max turned down to 8 degrees. Original 14g back weight replaced with 8g. Full length (playing 46.25"). (Facebook post) Ron H**** These Autoflexshafts Are Incredible!!! I have truly never seen anything like it! [Our] customers are picking up 20-30 yards off the tee (and it’s STRAIGHT)! (Facebook post) Allan W**** I used Autoflex for the past two days. Indeed i have made the right choice for this shaft. It certainly has increased my distance at least 10 yards. For those who is in doubt with this shaft, just go for it and you will not regret it.The shaft will not change your flight from slice to draw. It will go further when you slice it and longer than before. When money can buy distance, just do it.It will definitely worth the try. (Facebook post) David A**** OK so first time out with the SF405 today. 12 out of 12 fairways hit and at least an extra 20yds on the carries. Quite amazing for first time. All the hype around this shaft is not hype its real. Fantastic shaft. (Facebook post) Jess L**** I’ll cut right to the chase... I’m officially a believer. The course (I play) is very soft (just opened here in SE Michigan) and getting zero to very little roll most of the time. On four holes I hit balls in places I’ve never reached before, even during a dry summer with firm fairways. Two of those were into a light wind. I think I’m somewhat dialed in but still have a bit of work to do to get it perfect, including doing some ball testing as well. I purchased the AF fully skeptical I’d see results as I’m generally very well fit to my equipment and ball. The old “when it sounds to good to be true” saying comes to mind. My expectation was I’d see a slight distance increase but nothing significant. It’s the way it’s always been with equipment and new tech promises for me. Almost never saw the huge gains others might see. My intent was to test it, post a review and likely move on from it. The driver and shaft setup I was using before switching was about as good a combo as I’ve ever used. All that being said, the shaft isn’t going anywhere. In fact, I think there’s room to squeeze a decent amount of additional performance out of it. I’m a convert and would encourage any of you on the fence to take the leap of faith required to invest $800 on a shaft alone. I don’t think you’ll regret it. Andy S***** Jan 15, 2021One of my members sent me a video of the AutoFlex shaft and asked what I knew about it? It was the 1st I had heard of the shaft and after watching the video and doing a little research I ordered a shaft to try it out. I got the shaft in under 1 week (expecting 4-6 weeks). I put the shaft in my driver and tested it against my current shaft. I was thinking due to the weight I might pick up 2-3 yards. I was shocked that I picked up 5 MPH of ball speed and 14 yards of carry all at the same length of shaft. It has a great feel at impact and I had no problem fading or drawing the ball. This is definitely my new gamer shaft! Director of Golf, Twin Orchard Country Club, Long Grove, IL. USA Nathaniel Khoe on YouTube YouTube testimonial from a 9 handicap golfer with 85~100mph swing speed, using the Autoflex sf405 shaft. Adam C****** Hi J, just a quick note to thank you help me get my SF505X driver and 3 wood Autoflex shafts- I could not be happier. I hit both about 10-20 yards further than the stock shafts with driver swing speed increase of 5~mph (105 now 110-115)... and I hit 13 of 14 fairways in my last round on the 3rd of Jan (if only I could fix my now shorter approach shots 🤣). In many ways, the Autoflex 3 wood shaft is even better for me than the driver shaft (both off the tee and the deck!) which was a big surprise for me! I’m spreading the good word - my friend also just bought the Autoflex driver and 3 wood shaft and he can’t wait to try them out when they arrive! Happy New Year and thanks for your help as always! Instagram @myclubmaker6423Auto Flex review! Scott a 15-year loyal customer wanted to buy an auto flex. He is a great player 2 handicap and after years of trying lots of shafts had really not experienced anything worth talking about until now! Scott swings 110 but I told him to try the 505XX because I feel like customers go too soft with this shaft and that hurts them. He took the shaft straight to the course, no practice and hit every single fairway!!!! He also picked up 10-15 yards over where he usually was on his home course! Two drives of at least 20 yards over his average. I don’t know how to explain that good players never see these kinds of gains in distance and control but it’s real. The shaft is just different it’s turning heads all over the world. The name says it best auto flex because it’s just that, automatic, speed, power, control and feel. I don’t see how you could ask for anything more! Thanks auto flex for making an exciting product that truly performs! Brian ****** Hello, my name is Brian and I bought the SF505X about a month ago. I just got to hit it for the first time today. I hit a 295-yard carry today which is unbelievable. I have hit a 270-yard carry before. Most of my drives today were much straighter than usual. So I just wanted to say thank you. [Also], Is the AutoFlex SF505X USGA compliant? Now that I’m bombing all my drives straight down the fairway and beating the other guys I play with they say I’m a cheater. Ed ****** I honestly don’t see myself ever playing another shaft, unless something changes radically. It gives me the ball flight I want, has the aforementioned speed benefits, but most importantly the dispersion I get is like nothing I’ve seen before from a shaft. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve seen big jumps in dispersion and overall consistency from one shaft to another, but at this point in my golf game I generally know what works for me in terms of bend profile, ei curve etc and as long as I stay in that range shafts all perform pretty similar and its more what feels the best for me. The Autoflex though, My FIr% numbers are ridiculous, and this is playing the shaft an inch longer, it’s also just really easy to swing. Not that I ever really played ultra stiff mid section shafts, but if you ever have you know that feeling of it almost being hard work to hit the ball, this this just really easy. [abbr] FULL Reddit review here >> Ad ****** I've ordered the SF505X. It arrives tomorrow Tuesday on (Oct) 27th. I will hit it at the range and play with it this week and let you guys know what its like for an average 10 HDC player.* * * It’s arrived in about 4 days (slight delay via China for FedEx) - beautiful 🤣. I have it now installed for my normal Mavrik - will play a round with it tomorrow. Turned out to be just a fraction under 46” at D1.5. The recommend D1~2. Let’s see tomorrow on the course 👍 and I will take it to the simulator next week.* * *Probably no-one reading this by now ... but I had the autoflex SF505X in my 9* normal Mavrik head (+1 - 10*) today on course for 9 holes and had astounding results. I had struggled with it at the range, but on the course it just worked... I hit 7 drives for 6 fairways average 280 (up from normal 260) with long 300 and shorter 260. Like for TXG, even more impressive than the length increase, was the arrow straight fairway finders. I can't explain it... it is 46” (1/2” longer than my normal S shaft) with sw D1.5 but just like Matt, it wiggles like a fishing Rod when you wave it before the swing. Swing speed feels considerably up... but I won't be sure until I go to the simulator later this week! Anyway, for those thinking about it I also now recommend jumping in - but check the swing speed recommendations carefully. The website English speaking contact James is great! Tom****** Now I’ve been playing with the shaft for 4 rounds. Extensive testing against other shafts. I’m so impressed, there are no words to describe it! Been playing it uncut so I think it plays just short of 46.75 inches. Didn’t know if to tip or trim the butt end... It’s actually better for me to play a longer shaft. Feels better and I get a more sweeping swing from in to out. I’m playing it with the new TSi 3 8.0 @ 8.75 with +4 grams in Heel 1 setting. The swing weight comes in at E0 so heavy but doesn’t feel heavy. Worked a lot with swing weight and tried to get a sense for what’s ideal. My conclusion is that total weight is far more important than swing weight. So for my other fitted driver 200gram head is perfect. Played it with the same setting but with an Accra tz6 65 M4 44.75 inches. All the shafts I tried (smoke green60 6.5TX, Accra, Tensei White AV 65 X, Smoke RDX 60 6.5, Tour AD DI, XC, IZ, BB, GP, VR, Proforce 75 F5, Kuro Kage 50 X and a lot more) I was around 100 mph in swing speed. With my fitted Driver (Accra shaft) I came up to around 103 mph. With Autoflex 505x I’m hitting it comfortably at 107 but can squeeze out 110-112mph. My dispersion is insanely good. I can hit baby cuts and big draws. It’s the first time my driver is the easiest club to hit. Retired my go to spoon that I’ve had for ages. Even carried a green at 290 yards, 5 degrees Celsius (41 Fahrenheit) So big thanks to all who have been coming up with this shaft. So you know I work as a custom fitter for ***** in Sweden and I have tried a lot of different products. This really stands out. I have the same experience as the guys at TXG. Have to tee it up just a little bit. But the crazy thing is that it doesn’t get me more added Dynamic loft or spin. This is a real game changer. First time I can really say that the shaft is the engine. OEMs talk about that the head is the engine and the shaft manufacturers say that the shaft is the engine. My experience is that its the correlation between the head, shaft and the player that is the total engine. Can you tell me anything about the shaft? Material, EI Curve or anything? My club builder measured it to Lady flex in the middle. But more than that I don’t know. Thanks!Med vänliga hälsningar / Kind regards Kevin ***** Just some background ****** golf club is a top 100 club in America and was founded in 1913. I am the Pro and GM of the club for the past 22 years. I own the shop and have many contacts around the country. This product we have tested with every level golfer and as you know the results are unbelievable. My impression is a very soft shaft but so strong to be able to handle that flex and not break. A very firm tip with 0 torque to be able to hit it so straight. The most consistent shaft we have ever tested. I will need more and will get back to you soon. Thank you very much. Will we see the PINK at the Masters?! Scott **** I just did my research in Korea and found out that these shafts already has 7 years of presence with good recognition from amateurs and pros. Although the brand seems new, female pros such as Ji Hye Shin, Jenny Shin and Eun Hee Ji already won their LPGA tours with these shafts proving that it works at all stages. Autoflex is the descending models from previous Autopower. Jac***** I received the shaft this morning. We prepared the shaft with a provisional 0811 proto PXG head 10.5 fitted to 9 and a provisional 46 Length, D 3.5 swing weight waiting to fit a 9 loft head coming next week and cut the butt to 45.75 inches at D 2.5 SW. My first impression is that this shaft is a BEAST. More speed, more carry, and must be used with a slower tempo but no limits in how fast or hard you can swing. More info will come with the complete fitting of the shaft! (J from Italy )
